Seen in all its glory, as it would have in the mid 1930s, this Italianate style 'Cabin' lift took visitors from the Cabin tram stop, across from the famed Uncle Tom's Cabin pub, in Blackpool, down to a boating lake. Cabin lift hasn't operated for many years. The covered entrance, above the bridge, vanished long ago.
