Having watched an 'explore' of the area, and the remains of the mill, by YouTube vlogger Martin Zero, JMJ was inspired to mill, waterfall and mill pond greater public interest with this painting. Pay close attention to the waterfall. JMJ has a knack of painting water so that it appears to flow and create a mist on the water below. This technique was first used in a painting called What a fall! - based on a water course and cascade at Festival Gardens, Liverpool. JMJ creates the idea of mist/water spray by using a combination of white paint, gel pen, metallic paint and glitter paint.
